Overview

Light Work is made by WAEJAY LLC. This policy explains what data the app and website collect and how it is used.

Data we collect

Light Work collects data to run the app and understand how people discover it:

• Device identifier — an anonymous ID generated by RevenueCat to manage your subscription. The same ID labels your app analytics so we can see one person's journey. It is not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID.
• Purchase data — subscription status and transaction records, processed through Apple's StoreKit and RevenueCat. This data verifies whether your subscription is active.
• Website analytics — PostHog receives page views, referring websites, campaign parameters, clicks and interactions with website elements, App Store link clicks, browser/device information, and a pseudonymous browser identifier stored using cookies or local storage.
• App analytics — PostHog receives app opens, onboarding progress, the number of reps in each set and max test you log, the day of your program, and paywall views, together with device model, OS version, and app version.

We do not ask for your name or email for analytics. IP addresses are discarded when analytics data is received and are not used to estimate your location.

How we use your data

Purchase data is used to manage your subscription and unlock paid features. Website analytics help us measure visits and App Store clicks. App analytics help us see where people stop during onboarding, whether they keep training, and whether their max reps improve. We do not use session replay or link analytics data to third-party advertising profiles.

Third-party services

• RevenueCat — handles subscription management. RevenueCat receives an anonymous device identifier and purchase data. RevenueCat's privacy policy.
• PostHog — processes website and app analytics in our US-hosted project. PostHog’s privacy policy.
• Apple StoreKit — processes in-app purchases. Apple handles all payment information directly. Apple's privacy policy.

No other third-party services receive your data.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone outside of the services listed above.

Data retention

Subscription data is retained by RevenueCat and Apple for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel your subscription and it expires, RevenueCat retains transaction records per their data retention policy.

Analytics data is retained according to our PostHog project retention settings. Contact us with questions about your analytics data or deletion requests.

Children's privacy

Light Work is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
